Rep. Glenn Grothman: This Administration Will Be Getting Rid of Fewer Post Office Boxes than Obama from 2013 to 2016
‘We have a situation today in which the U.S. Post Office is sitting on $15 billion’
EXCERPT:
GROTHMAN: “There are other things you can look at as well. You can look — you talk about getting rid of post offices. In the first three years in which President Trump has complete control of the administration, they will be getting rid of less post office boxes than Obama from 2013 to 2016. And I don't have the numbers before 2013, it might be four years in a row. In the greatest year in which President Trump got rid of the post — got rid of mailboxes. Another thing to point out is even if every single person in this country votes absentee, which they won't, it would only increase mail that month by one and a half percent. So we have no crisis here.”
