FNC: LA District Atty. Lacey Says She Received a Death Threat Prior to Husband’s BLM Encounter

‘My husband acted in fear for my safety’

HUNT: “In his statement of the gun charges, Jackie Lacey said “My husband acted in fear for my safety after we were subjected to months of harassment that included a death threat no less than a week earlier.” Jackie Lacey is the first black person and first woman to run the country’s largest, local prosecutor’s office. She has been targeted by the black lives matter movement for nearly three years because the protesters say she has failed to hold accountable for shootings. She faces a tough reelection battle in November. Her husband’s attorney come in the meantime said David Lacey is disappointed he is charged with a crime but is confident that justice will produce “The correct result.””
