Josh Earnest: It Could Be Your Last Flight on United Airlines If You Don’t Wear a Mask
RUSH EXCERPT:
EARNEST: “Our policy is working with medical experts at the Cleveland clinic to advise us and what we can do to keep people safe on board the aircraft. They are a bunch of things we have done in terms of high-efficiency filters using an electric static cover on the plane, disinfectants here at the aircraft, but the most important thing is we can require that every buddy wear a mask on board the airplane, because it is not possible to socially distance on board the airplane, so wearing a mask does not just keep the wearer safe, but everybody else safe too in relying on that medical advice is why we put the policy in place and we have made clear that if you board one of our airplanes and you don’t comply with that requirement, then we will reserve the right to prevent you from flying united airlines as long as we have the policy in place. It could be her last flight if you don’t wear the mask.”
