Paris Dennard: Liberal Democrat Mayors and Governors Failed To Maintain Law and Order

DENNARD: "I think the President’s language is where we need to be at this current time. We need to remember that a man’s life was lost senselessly. There’s no excuse for the way George Floyd died at the knee of that police officer. President Trump has said repeatedly that he sides with the peaceful protest for justice, he understands it. He says — he's said multiple times, I hear you and I understand, but what failed to happen was these liberal Democrat mayors and governors did not get law and order down for these cities, and so what we see is lawlessness. These are not protests anymore. They are riots and there are looters, and the violence, you’ve had police officers shot, you've had businesses destroyed and the President is right to call on the local officials to restore order so that justice can be served, so that the people who are in pain, which I understand tremendously in my community, can have justice served and then we can have actions so that this doesn’t happen again.”
