Sen. Blumenthal: Proliferation of Guns Threatens ‘The Very Fabric of Our Society’ (CNS News)

Sen. Richard Blumenthal (D-Conn.) says that the proliferation of guns and gun violence are among the “most insidious” threats to “social justice” and it “threatens the very fabric of our society.”

During a speech given at the Religious Action Center’s “Consultation on Conscience” event last month Blumenthal said, “And the proliferation of guns in this country, the spread of gun violence is one of the threats to social justice, that is most pernicious and most insidious – it threatens the very fabric of our society and the greatest, strongest country in the history of the world.”
