Adam Carolla: We Have a Million Rules for Law Abiding Citizens But No Rules For Those Who Do Not

‘No one wants to enforce the laws around here’

RUSH EXCERPT:

CAROLLA: “Breakdown of the rule of law. No one wants to enforce the laws around here. What I figured out from living here my entire life, I was born 3 miles that way I know I live 3 miles that way, California and L.A. Especially sort of broke in the citizens into two groups. There are the groups that have money and then the empty bags. They don’t have any money. So if you have money and you were in that group and you pay your taxes, you will get pulled over and get a ticket for not having a front license plate rated everybody I know in L.A. Has been pulled over for not having a front license plate. But if you were homeless or illegal or not in the system, then you are essentially an empty bag and they can’t get money out of you. In fact, they cost the city money so anything that cost the city money they are not that good at but they are really good at parking enforcement and they are really good that permits and building permits and fines and anything where there is money to be had, superefficient add it and the homeless don’t have checking accounts mso there is nothing in it for them.”
