MOORE: “First of all, I endorsed Bernie 30 years ago when he first ran for Congress. I went up to Burlington, Vermont, and appeared at a rally. It was the first time he ran. I was probably as good as they could get. It was like — it was just a few months after my first film and I flew up there. He basically had — he had three, you know, endorsers of like some note. Two guys that made ice cream for a living, Ben and Jerry, and as I said at the time, and one guy who ate ice cream, me. So it was the three of us.”
