El Paso Mayor Dee Margo: Trump Called Me ‘RINO’ During Our Post-Shooting Meeting

EXCERPT:

REPORTER: "Right. He came down here and he criticized you. He says, 'I don't care whether a mayor, as a Republican or a Democrat, they're full of crap when they say that basically the wall didn't make a big difference.'"
MARGO: "I said I've been to a proctologist and I was doing much better."
REPORTER: "Did you bring up that incident?"
MARGO: "No. We were talking and — he kind of did. He kind of did."
REPORTER: "What did he say?"
MARGO: “He said ‘You’re a RINO.' I said, ‘No, sir. I am not a RINO.'"
REPORTER: "'A Republican in name only.'"
MARGO: "I said, 'I simply corrected the misinformation you were given by our attorney general,' and that’s all I did."
REPORTER: "What did he say?"    
MARGO: "He just kind of grinned."
