Carl Cameron: ‘Dangerous’ How Much Access Fox Hosts Have to Trump

‘The access that some at Fox have in the entertainment side to the president is questionable, if not dangerous’

RUSH EXCERPT:

STELTER: "I think about the change at fox over the year with Sean Hannity as the perfect camp. He has a liberal sidekick, co-host, they ballots it out, and it’s just Hannity show, and now he’s dos a version of the nightly news that is an anti-democrat Fox. That’s the evolution of fox. It started out with the illusion of fair and balanced, and now it’s at just Hannity."
CAMERON: "The access that some at Fox have in the entertainment side to the president is questionable, if not dangerous. It’s not normal. There have been presidents who have confided in the press directly. Lyndon Johnson used to do it a great deal. Some have kept it at great distance, but they need to be understood as allied. Unfortunately, in the name — in capable news, an awful lot of it is ideology and entertainment, and opinion, and yet it’s still on television, to some, looks like news, and there is a big, big difference."
