Garcetti Recall Petitioner Alex Datig Appears on KFI AM 640 To Discuss L.A.’s State of Emergency with Homelessness

‘We have a 9-11 type catastrophe growing here in Los Angeles’

EXCERPT:

KOBYLT: “Tell us what was the motivation to do the petition?”
DATIG: “Well, I’ve just had enough. You know, I’m a citizen of Los Angeles. I live in the Byzantine-Latino Quarter down at Normandie and 15th Street, behind Loyola High School, and I can’t walk the streets at night. I work in Downtown L.A., I work for law firms downtown, prominent law firms, I can’t walk to lunch without seeing a homeless person with blood on their shirt or stabs all over them, attacking coworkers. One of them took the elevator ride up to the 14th floor where I work and was using the elevator and the bathroom.”
