GIDLEY: "It’s absolutely ludicrous and absurd. Listen, James Comey is an admitted liar and an admitted leaker. McCabe is the same. They both lied before Congress. They have a disgraced reputation. None of them were liked in this town, by the way, until they turned on Donald Trump and then all of a sudden they became the toast of the town. But you pointed out something earlier, and I think this is what’s so interesting. The headlines themselves rarely reflect the content below. And there's a great paragraph in there that says to this point there is no evidence of any of this whatsoever. That should have been the headline that there is no evidence of any collusion. There is no evidence of any wrongdoing with Donald Trump. But instead, it seems like this town and quite frankly the nation is held hostage by some 22-year-old in the newsroom who writes a headline that isn’t checked by anybody because it has nothing to do with the substance of the article."
