On Friday night, Jim Carrey appeared on Real Time with Bill Maher and called for people to “break bread” again. (Mediaite)

After discussing how one of his most memorable films The Cable Guy was about how people are “babysat by the television,” Carrey pivoted to “dangerous” times happening now. “There are generations growing up right now who are learning to lie, that lying is okay, that you’re supposed to hate half the country,” Carrey told Bill Maher.
