So you might make the distinction that he didn’t know about the Stormy Daniels’ payment, but he knew about karen McDougals's, but it doesn’t matter. At the end of the day, what we do know is that Donald Trump is an unindicted co-conspirator in a felony. He has participated in a felonious act and we have people like Senator McConnell and people like Paul Ryan, Republicans, generally there are some Republicans who are outliers who are okay with the fact that the president of the United States is an unindicted co-conspirator with a crime. And that suggests to me that we are in a really, really dark place in this country."
