Pence Meets Korean War Remains: ‘Today, We Prove These Heroes Were Never Forgotten’

‘Allow me to extend greetings and great respect to all of those gathered here from our commander and chief whose leadership and compassion brought this day about’

RUSH EXCEPRT:

PENCE: "Lieutenant brown. Distinguished members of Congress and honored guests, members of our armed forces, and most of all veterans from our Korean war and the cherished families of our missing fallen. Thanks for joining us. For this historic occasion. Allow me to extend greetings and great respect to all of those gathered here from our commander and chief whose leadership and compassion brought this day about. The 45th president of the united States of America, president Trump. The good book says if you owe debts, pay debts. If honor, then honor. If respect, then respect. We are gathered here at this honorable ceremony to receive 55 flag-draped cases which we trust include the remains of American heroes who fell in the Korean war. Some have called the Korean war the forgotten war. But today, we prove these heroes were never forgotten."
