Lewandowski: Mueller’s Spent Millions to Demonstrate What Trump and I Have Said, There’s No Collusion

‘You can’t just give a blank check to somebody and let them continue investigating something and let it go off in a million different tangents’

EXCERPT:

HEMMER: "I know you agree with everything Giuliani said. But next hour our viewers will hear from Marco Rubio making a different case. He doesn’t think the president is guilty of any collusion, hasn't seen any evidence of that, but he is insisting allow the Mueller matter to proceed until it reaches its natural conclusion. What’s wrong with that?"
LEWANDOWSKI: "You know Bill, what’s wrong with that is this investigation from the Mueller team has spent millions of taxpayer dollars to already demonstrate what the president and I have said from the very beginning, there is no collusion, there was no cooperation, there was no coordination between the Trump campaign and the outside entity and it's not fair to continue to spend taxpayer money. What is fair, though, put a definitive end date on it. It has been a year. And we don’t know when this investigation is going to wrap up, we don't know when the report is going to be written and submitted to the Department of Justice and Congress for their review. But that has to happen soon because if it doesn’t, you can’t just give a blank check to somebody and let them continue investigating something and let it go off in a million different tangents. It just can’t happen."
