Obamacare is forcing people in Michigan to make tough financial choices, WZZM-MI reports, with one couple expecting its first child having to pay its yearly deductible twice.

The couple’s $5,000 deductible, normally reset in April, is being reset in January to align with the guidelines of Obamacare. They also will not have the medical costs of the upcoming birth fully covered as planned, and they have already cut cable and sold a car to make ends meet.

Other Michigan residents wrote on WZZM’S Facebook page that Obamacare is causing premiums to go up 40 percent, and their deductible is “outrageous.”
