‘We’ve gotten our privacy invaded with clear backpacks’

EXCERPT:

CASSIDY: “We’ve gotten our privacy invaded with those clear backpacks, we see how much we’re worth with those bright price tags which say a dollar and five cents. We have to wear badges every day to prove that we are part of the Stoneman Douglas family. We have to walk through fences and checkpoints every day. School is supposed to be a place where you love to be and love learning, and now it is a prison.”
