BLAKEMAN: "This was a great speech, over one hour and 15 minutes, it was more patriotic than partisan. The party in power, as the present pointed out, history tells us since the civil war, on average, we lose to Senate seats, we cannot afford to lose either chamber. We have to build on our majority, that was what the president said. We have to take action, transfer or that it to the people who will be voting in November. And by the way, history has also taught us that if the economy is doing well, people are going to vote with their pocketbooks and give the benefit to the people who provided change. People are getting tax cuts, but they are also getting a benefit by returning bonuses by their employer."
