THOMPSON: "We see it with — the big thing in the district that I represent, local law enforcement has worked for years building a strong relationship between Latino communities and the police community and now ICE comes in. What is the prominent lettering on their jackets and their vests? Police. Little letters 'ICE.' It has created huge public safety problems in our community. This administration won't listen to the calls for help from local police. So it kind of goes with the territory with these guys. You have to tell your listeners that called in that they need to do the legal thing, they need to do their taxes, they can’t avoid it and that help is on the way. , And we need to make sure we double down our efforts and we can fix these atrocious parts of this new tax policy in a way that will help American families.”
