Lee Carter: Pelosi’s Icon Comment Did Not Help Her At All

CARTER: "What they tell me is that Republicans and independents are not buying this message. They gave it D minus. Democrats gave it a C minus. This is really a hot button right now. People politicizing it do it at their own peril. This is not a Republican or Democrat issue. This is about right and wrong.People are across the board tired for people standing up for people in their party not necessarily across the board. This did not help Nancy Pelosi at all and certainly didn’t help Conyers."
