MSNBC’s Rattner: Trump Will Benefit By over a Billion Dollars from GOP Tax Plan

RATTNER: "But when you get more fundamentally to what’s in this bill, you still end up with a situation where Donald Trump, who over the last couple days keeps saying, 'There is nothing in this bill for me, there's nothing in this bill for my rich friends,' in fact, based on his 2005 tax returns which we have, he would get over $40 million in benefits from this bill and only a small amount of offsets. And if the House version passes, which has the repeal of the estate tax in it, he would get anywhere from 1 to 4 billion dollars of estate tax relief. So the idea that this is a bill for the middle class and wouldn’t help trump is ludicrous."
