Perry Hooper Jr. ‘Absolutely I Am’ Satisfied with Roy Moore’s Denials

[Roy Moore] is an honest man’

RUSH EXCERPT:

TODD: "Let me ask you this. I don't know if you've heard all of judge Moore's interview with Sean hannity or excerpts of it. Are you satisfied with his denials?"
HOOPER JR.: "Well, let me just tell you this. This just -- Roy Moore's been in the public eye and public office for the last 30-some odd years and now these ladies are just now coming forward with these type of accusations and allegations. I just think it's -- it's typical Democrat gutter politics. I was -- I chaired, as you mentioned earlier, the Donald Trump for president campaign. And I see the same path that they tried to make those same allegations against Donald Trump, only to find they were all false. You know, they began trying to hit the race issue. And it didn't move the needle any."
TODD: "I understand, but --"
HOOPER JR.: "Then all of a sudden they --"
TODD: "But the question I asked you, are you satisfied with Judge Moore's denials?"
HOOPER JR.: "Absolutely I amount. I think this is all gutter politics. He's an honest man. A man of integrity. And I think it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out that what this is all about. We're right at a month going into probably one of the most important United States Senate races in the country. That 51st Senate vote extremely important to the president. He needs those votes. It's about issues. It's about repealing ObamaCare. It's about cutting taxes, and by golly, it's about building the wall. That's what this election is about and Doug Jones, he don't support any of that."
TOOD: "Let me ask you --"
HOOPER JR.: "He's way back, behind by 1 points, 12 points, as high as 15 points in the polls. They decided to take this path. This gutter-style politics."
