Fox’s Kurtz Fires Back at Colbert: Good Luck Dropping ‘Pompous Blowhard’ Act (Mediaite)
On yesterday’s MediaBuzz, Fox News’ Howard Kurtz responded to Stephen Colbert taking a few shots at him over his Ferguson coverage. Colbertroasted Fox last week over how they covered the unrest in Ferguson. He zoned in on Kurtz for suggesting the media might be doing more harm than good by being in town.
Colbert agreed, saying, “The presence of a camera clearly makes people behave recklessly because I don’t believe for a minute that Howie Kurtz would have floated the idea that journalists are to blame for the Ferguson violence if a camera wasn’t pointed at him.”
