Former CIA Director James Woolsey said on Wednesday that President Trump has not reached the level of foolishness that former President George W. Bush reached when he said he looked into Russian President Vladimir Putin's eyes and got a sense of his "soul."

Woolsey made the comment while speaking to CNN's Don Lemon, who repeatedly tried to coax Clapper to badmouth Trump.

"I don't think that Trump has said anything as foolish as as George W. Bush's looking into Putin's eyes and seeing his soul," Woolsey said, after Lemon brought up concerns about Trump's stability as commander in chief.
