Tucker Grills Pastor Giving Sanctuary to Illegals: ‘Who Has a Moral Right to Come to the United States?’
‘I did not feel like, as a Christian, that I could close the door under those terms’
EXCERPT:
CARLSON: "Because you are wearing a clerical collar and you are invoking your religion, the world's largest religion, to throw moral weight behind your argument, I think it's fair to ask what is your argument is. Who has a moral right to come to the United States?"
RIGBY: "We are a sanctuary church. In our church we have two people from Guatemala. Do you remember the Colin Powell’s pottery barn rule? For me, what is left out of the conversation a lot is that this young mother and her son were born into a country that had been destabilized. And as an American, I feel like I’m partially responsible for that, to give her sanctuary."
