Chaffetz: ‘I’ve Had Dozens’ of Death Threats But U.S. Attorneys Won’t Prosecute Them

‘U.S. Attorneys don’t prosecute anything’

EXCERPT:

KILMEADE: "Well, House Oversight Government Reform Committee chairperson congressman Jason Chaffetz joins us. And we always love when you come on. You always say it like it is. But sadly, I think we first have to start off with something that has not changed. And chairman, as you let it be known, as you made your voice public, the death threats are real, and they keep coming."
CHAFFETZ: "Yeah. Look, I’ve had dozens of those, unfortunately. We had another person who put one out saying he was going to come slit my throat but the U.S. Attorney said, 'Nah, we’re not going to prosecute that.' Unfortunately, it happens. It happens regularly, but the U.S. Attorneys don’t prosecute these things."
