It's when you can't tell the difference between the real story and the parody. Like when you speak it might be an  Onion story, it might be a joke. Then you find out it's actually real that somebody believes this somebody says if you serve tacos at a party, that's cultural appropriation. All of the stories in the last five years feel like they were fake but they were real."
