CORN: "There are no core principles that seem to be guiding this, which means that everything is situational, which is how he lives his life. He says what he says at the time. It doesn't matter that he had a different position five nanoseconds ago. It’s all about what’s going to be right at that moment and best for him. That makes it hard — I mean I’m sympathetic to McMaster and the people around him because it’s like trying to deal with a tornado that never touches down and you don’t know which direction it’s going while you’re trying to have a coherent policy. You know, this is easy to sort of, you know, dismiss. But a lot of countries like to see stability and have an understanding of where a country like the United States is sitting, whatever direction, so you can deal with it."
