BRZEZINSKI: "The father of fallen Navy SEAL chief petty officer, William Ryan Owens is demanding an investigation into his son’s death. Owens was killed in that raid in Yemen back in January, which one senior military official says quote, 'almost everything went wrong'. Now his father, Bill Owens tells 'The Miami Herald', quote, 'Don’t hide behind my son’s death to prevent an investigation. I want an investigation. The government owes my son an investigation.' Bill Owens, himself a veteran and a retired police detective also says he refused to meet with the president, saying, quote, 'I told them I didn’t want to make a scene about it, but my conscience wouldn’t let me talk to him.' The White House maintains the mission was a success."
