‘I think it should be up to the individual to make the decision, not the government’

MOORE: “Trish, I agree 100 percent with what you just said. I grew up, you know, my parents were World War II generation. My mom would never buy a Japanese car because of what happened in World War II. She felt it was unpatriotic. That was 75 years ago, but the point is there was an ethic back then that you bought American products, and I’d love to see it return to that. I guess I’m making a point, and I'll challenge you a little on what you said — I think it should be up to the individual to make that decision, not the government."
