STIPE: "I would like the electoral college voters to carefully weigh their individual decisions in deciding what a democracy that was set up over 200 years ago is going to look like at the end of 2016. This is crucial. And I don't really care where they butter their bread. But I want them to be patriots. And so let's hope for the best."
