In a rambling farewell address that featured several arguably sexist moments, outgoing Senate Minority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) said Nancy Pelosi, while usually attactive, looks unappealing in her pajamas.

Speaking at the unveiling of his official Senate portrait, Reid attempted to thank many of those in attendance, offering unusually candid comments about his colleagues.

When it came to Pelosi, Reid lost his train of thought while trying to tell a story about a fashion show her son Paul appeared in.

"When Landra [Reid] took over the spouse's operation, they had, what is it called, show off your clothes, what's that called?" Reid asked.

"Fashion show," the audience offered.

"And [Pelosi], of course, if I do say so myself, she looks pretty good most of the time," he continued. "And the only time she doesn't is when I catch her in her pajamas sometimes."

"But anyway," he added, finally drawing laughter.

Another arguably sexist moment came a minute later when Reid attempted to praise Hillary Clinton but appeared confused on the politically correct way to refer to a "stateswoman."

"She is a skilled statesman," he said. "Or should I say a skilled -- how do you put statesman-woman, whatever."

Earlier in the speech, Reid said that one way Washington can get back on track is bringing back earmarks.
