A Love Story: Joe Biden Shares His Passion for His 1967 Corvette

In an appearance Wednesday before the autoworkers union, Vice President Biden sounded a lot like "Diamond" Joe Biden - his Trans Am-driving alter ego created by the jokesters at the Onion.

Biden said "one overwhelming reason not to run for President" in 2016 is the chance to drive the new Corvette Z06 that can go from "zero to 60 in 3.4 seconds."

"You tack that sucker up to six grand and this comes out of the hole like a bullet, man," Biden told the cheering members of the United Autoworkers Union.

Biden also suggested he'd like to race Corvette's new Stingray.
