School Board Member Attacks Girls for ‘Fear-Mongering’ About Boys in the Girls’ Bathroom

GUPTA: "We passed the LGBTQ support resolution a little while ago. The fear-mongering point was made then about this biological boys in the girls' bathroom being a safety issue. At that time, I asked for evidence that this was the case, evidence that this would cause a safety risk. There were no cases brought forward. I researched it myself, just in case I was missing something. There are no cases in our district, our state, or elsewhere that supports the claim that trans kids using the bathroom of their identified gender creates increased risk of safety for other kids. There is no evidence of that claim."
