TYLER: “As it relates to black voters, this campaign will make it absolutely clear that Joe Biden, a) has an incredible record of accomplishment, . No president has done more for black America in modern history than Joe Biden. You look at the work that he's done since the day he took office, we achieved record-low black unemployment under this president, we made historic investment in the HBCUs, to the tune of $7 billion, we got the highest rate of black small business growth in a generation. So we’re going to campaign on the record, but we're also going to campaign on the vision for the future, and we’re going to contrast that against our opponent in Donald Trump. We are going to talk about his economic record, right, the things that went up under his administration by the end of his term for black people with the unemployment rate, the uninsured rate, we’ll talk about who he is as a person, the way he entered public life by falsely accusing Central Park Five, the way he entered political life by taking the racist birtherism conspiracy theory and bringing it mainstream. So we’re going to talk about what this president has done, what he wants to accomplish in the future, and yes, we're going to contrast that against our opponent. We are confident that when we do that, black voters will continue to understand that they have somebody who is fighting for them day in and day out in Joe Biden, and we’ll project Donald Trump and the extremism that he presents."
