OBAMA: "You know, when I hear people say, for example, in the aftermath of Ferguson and some of the other cases, that race relations have deteriorated — they’re terrible — I have to say, ‘Well, maybe it’s just ‘cause I’m getting older, but they’re not worse than they were after the Rodney King incident in L.A. And they’re certainly not worse than they were back in the ‘50s or the ‘60s. But we forget."
