CNN’s Egan: ‘What Happens Next on the Oil Price Front Is Going To Be Big for the Economy, for the Market, and Maybe Even the Election’

‘There are concerns about the Middle East’

EXCERPT:

EGAN: “OPEC+, the producer alliance led by Saudi Arabia and Russia, they're holding back supply. They want to lift prices, and it's working. And then you have the war factor -- drone attacks on Russian refineries by Ukraine, that was the issue last month, and now there are all these concerns about the Middle East. And you have to keep in mind the U.S. is producing more oil than any country ever has before. And so that is cushioning some of the blow here. But there are concerns about the Middle East. And so Sara, what happens next on the oil price front is going to be big for the economy, for the market, and maybe even the election.”
