CARDINALE: “No, it’s already out of control with the numbers that we are seeing, with all these incidents, and then the governor puts up a veneer of the National Guard at Penn station, and then two miles away while that’s happening, there’s a shooting on the A train. This is everyday life for everybody in the city and people have to understand that elections have consequences and the governor is not budging from this bail reform, nor are the Democrats. They refuse to budge on this issue. Bail reform is not working. They have to do something about it. We have to do something about it. And it’s time that the governor steps in and says, alright, let’s look this over again but she won’t, she’ll double down on.”
