MSNBC: N.H. Union Leader Publisher Likens Trump to Biff from ‘Back to the Future’
MOHYEDIN: “Donald Trump will also be campaigning this evening. He is in New Hampshire where he’s the subject of a blistering page one editorial this morning in the ‘New Hampshire Union Leader,’ which had already endorsed Chris Christie. Trump also took to Twitter again to continue his attacks on Democrat Hillary Clinton but also this time at her husband. Joining me now MSNBC host and political correspondent Steve Kornacki and NBC’s Hallie Jackson, who is in Nashua, New Hampshire for us. Hallie, let’s begin with you and give us a sense of today, what is happening up there today, what can we expect from Donald?”
JACKSON: “Donald Trump front page news here in Nashua and in much of the New Hampshire. Check this out. This is the front page of ‘The National Union Leader’ here today. Above the full page editorial just hammering Donald Trump. And take a look here from the publisher 'Trump has shown himself to be a crude blowhard with no clear political philosophy and no deeper understanding of the important and serious role of the president of the United States than one of the goons he lets rough up protesters in his crowds." Then this editorial goes on to compare him to Biff in the ‘Back to the future’ series. You know Biff. Right here it reminds us of the grown up bully. [indecipherable] screen writer says he based Biff on Trump and then there’s the prediction that the New Hampshire Republicans will send ‘Biff/Trump’ back to elsewhere, anywhere on the road to the most important office in the United States. However, I must point that Trump still solidly leads in the polls here in New Hampshire in some cases by double digits and as he gets ready to ring in the New Year, he’s also got a new target, not just Hillary Clinton but Bill Clinton, too. Take a look at his tweet that he Trump sent this morning saying that if Hillary thinks she can unleash her husband with his terrible record of women abuse while playing the women’s card on me, she’s wrong. All of this coming as Trump kicks off his three day three state campaign swing beginning here in New Hampshire."
