CRUZ: "I think the single most indefensible decision that was made was in December, Republican leadership in the Senate passed an omnibus spending bill that put into the law Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer’s priorities for the first nine months of 2023. There was no explanation for that other than to remove all leverage from Republicans in the House. So we are having a fight right now about spending and now it’s in September we should have had this fight in January. Why did we have this fight in January?
