SHEFFIELD: “Well, it is not true because, as a matter fact, If you look at countries across the world, there are tons of countries, major industrialized nations that everybody’s heard of and America does tons of business with, that have jailed and investigated their leaders. I mean, you got Japan, you got Italy, you’ve got France. I mean, just tons of places all over the world. And people — and the common denominator is people were accused of committing a crime and they had their day in court, and some of them lost. So, that’s the mark of a stable and honest government. It’s not a banana republic.”
