EXCERPT:

HAWLEY: "Hey, listen, I’m from the state of Missouri, we're pretty independent-minded of Missouri. My view is you gotta do what is right and you’ve gotta have the courage of your convictions, so I’m happy to go out there and say I think we need a change in direction of the Senate GOP. I mean, listen, you look at the record of the last just two years in the Senate. What’s happened? Caved to big pharma on insulin, caved to Chuck Schumer on gun control, caved to the radical left on the climate agenda — that's the so-called infrastructure bill. That’s a terrible record. And then they wonder, why didn't we do better in the midterms. Well, gee, I don’t know. We need a change of direction, I’m not afraid to say it. And I don’t care what the repercussions are."
