Mika Grills Surgeon General on Baby Formula ‘Crisis’: ‘I’m Not Feeling an Intensity’ from Biden Admin

‘Do you want to know where there is not a baby formula crisis? In Poland, on the border, where they took in almost 4 million people in three months, and there’s enough formula there’

MSNBC’s Mika Brzezinski confronted U.S. Surgeon General Vivek Murthy on why the government hasn’t taken greater action already to alleviate the national baby formula shortage.

Murthy gave an interview to Morning Joe on Thursday, where he took a series of questions about whether the White House waited too long to act on the crisis, and what is the Biden administration going to do to boost formula production. The interview comes a day after President Joe Biden invoked the Defense Production Act in order to increase the availability of formula and tackle disruptions to the supply chain.
