GUPTA: "The reason you’re hearing about the masking coming back is basically still to try and slow down the spread of what is clearly a more transmissible variant, the Delta variant. This is 60 percent more transmissible than the U.K. variant was, which was 50 percent more transmissible than the strain before that. So you get the idea here. I mean, it’s sort of this notion that the virus is still spreading. Let’s see if we can do everything we can to really contain it now at this phase of things."
