If we don’t know why they gathered for this oceanfront meeting because “The daily caller” news foundation can find public records of the meeting but critics say that everything is on the up and up, why did the jail reform group book the beach club through a consulting firm that just happens to be owned by the woman who coauthored the 2018 biography? Actually raked in nearly $260,000 in consulting fees from you guessed it, reform L.A. Jails. It’s unclear if the California commission that regulates political groups plan to look into this but a conservative watchdog group already raising red flags.”
