COLEMAN: “Yeah, this is just horrible. A 6-month-old baby, 2-year-old and a 3-year-old were found dead by their grandmother early Saturday morning. The terrible discovery rocking the community and leading police on a massive manhunt for the mother of the children. The victims were found at their San Fernando Valley apartment about 25 miles from downtown Los Angeles. Police did not confirm the cause of death, but according to early reports, the children were stabbed. Many neighbors were shocked, several reportedly saying that they never noticed anything unusual at that apartment and, according to one neighbor, they did not see the father around. Police say they have not been called out to the residence until now, and that emotionally this is a lot to process.”
