ROGERS: “I thought Melania Trump’s speech last night was great and these events are supposed to try to appeal to our aspirations, our better instincts, how America can move forward. All of those things are important. I think she hit every note. As a matter of fact, I hope she writes the president’s speech, for his acceptance speech. I think he would do well by the tone and the tenor of the speech but the problem is everybody is focused on the fact that she did it from the White House.”
