‘They need to feel that things are going to get better’

JILL BIDEN: “The mental health crisis in this country is real. And I think you have Lady Gaga on later and she is going to be talking about some of this. But I -- I see it, and that’s why I’m so proud that Joe in his educational policy is putting in more money so we can have more psychologists and counselors in our schools because I have seen it for so many years and I have talked to teachers across this country, and I say, 'What is the one thing that you need?' And the teachers, the educators say to me, 'Jill, we need more help with mental health.' And it's a big problem. I think after this pandemic it's going to be — excuse me -- it's going to be even greater. And so that’s one of the things that Joe plans to address.”
