Stress Test Failure: Issa Says ObamaCare Site Could Only Handle 1,100 Users at Launch
CARLSON: "It was up to you, and I think some other people, to figure this out, 1,100, we heard from Jay Carney, and so many other people, that it was this sheer volume of people who were trying to get on the site that made it crash? Not so, right?"
ISSA: "Not at all, and Gretchen, Jay Carney is paid to say things that aren't so. But in this case, Todd Parks and other people, who knew the facts, who had the facts, and the facts were, from documents we've received, from lead contractors, that they slowed down to an unacceptable level at 1,100 users. While in fact Todd Parks was telling us that at 60,000 was the target, and at 250,000 they couldn't handle it. The truth was their goal wasn't even 16,000, their goal was 10,000. They reached 1,100. So of course at 250,000 they were never going to work, which meant this was a stillborn site. This was a failure to launch, that they knew about on September 30th, and went ahead anyway."
