Harris: ‘I Will Put in Place a Secretary of Labor Who Actually Understands the Dignity of Work’

‘I promise you when elected, I will put in place a Secretary of Labor who actually understands the dignity of work’

HARRIS: "And we must honor the work, understanding also that it has been, especially these last couple of years, full-on under attack and in that way this is an attack against working people of America. I promise you, when elected, I will put in place a secretary of labor who actually understands the dignity of work. I promise you that as president I will always support the right to strike and the right to organize. I will support a $15 minimum wage, as I have. I will work against those right-to-work laws and also make sure that corporations that violate labor laws are fined and receive the kind of accountability and consequence that they deserve for suppressing workers and their ability to speak on behalf of working people."
